- AI Catalysts – Center of Excellence: To promote rural AI innovation, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, the collaboration will set up a Center of Excellence named “AI Catalysts.” This initiative aims to equip 100,000 innovators and developers through hackathons, community-building efforts, and an AI marketplace, fostering a culture of innovation beyond metropolitan areas.
- Support for AI Startups: Microsoft’s Founders Hub program will extend benefits, including Azure credits, business resources, and mentorship, to up to 1,000 AI startups under the IndiaAI mission. This support is designed to foster innovation and growth within India’s burgeoning startup ecosystem, providing the necessary resources for startups to thrive.
- Development of Indic Language Models: Recognizing India’s linguistic diversity, the collaboration will focus on developing foundational AI models with support for Indic languages.
